super fuge slime HELP!!!!

I added 4 work lights to my fuge. I put one on topweeks ago and it worked great so I added 3 more on all side . So I think that that was way to much cause the fuge is choked with slime red and a wierd beige colored slime. Lots of bubbles lots of goo. I turned off the side lights and threw in a powerhead. Is there anything else? Also I have a very blue 150w mh can i use that for the fuge. Or is that 14k bulb the wrong sectrum for plants?

how long was the light or lights running?

i use a 4200k t-5 and a 10k t-5, anything above 10k is kinda useless for a fuge.....you want to simulate natural daylight as close as possible which is in the average 6500k range....... try concentrating the bulbs spread on the water, I had one facing the acrylic and got the same red slime, turned it around and it went away....

Have you seen dinoflagellates before? The description sounds like there could be some of that evil mess mixed in??
