super glue Xenia to rock?

Good morning everyone,
I just bought a piece of xenia but don't know how it would stick to the rock. Last night, I bought some super glue gel and glue the bottom of it to a rock. But this morning, It was loosed again, almost fall of the rock. Is there a better way to get them to attach itself to the rock?

Thanks

I use a rubber band. Just not too tight to cut it. After about a week, take the rubber band off, and the xenia should be attached.

You can also stick a plastic tooth pick through the base and super glue both ends of the tooth pick where ever you want it. After it attaches, you can pull the tooth pick out.

Thanks for all the advices, so i take it that the super glue thing is a big mistake? Hopefully, when i get home tonight, my Xenia is still alive.

I have found the best method for me is to use a needle and some fishing line.Thread the xenia and use 2 rubber bands to secure each end of the line with the elastics. This way you can adjust the mount only by pulling ends of the fishing line.IME this method is the most effective way and allows the most control and the least amount of stress on the coral.
