Hello all, I haven't been on in a long time but the gist of it is my tank crashed and I need someone to maybe hold my corals, crabs, snails, conch that have survived until i get my setup redesigned and new equipment setup. What happened was my RO failed to top off and my in sump pump and 500w heater caught fire cracking my sump tank and I have no backup heater or filter. All of my fish are dead and I've lost a lot of my SPS. I do have a bunch of polyps, a small acan colony, a few mushrooms and GSP that are still salvageable. I have a whole new setup that I have been researching and wanting for a while that I just ordered so it should be about a week or two. Please text me if you're in RI and can help me.

Thanks,
Francis

I'm sorry to hear about your tank. I'm not in Rhode Island but do have some extra equipment around that you can use if needed.

Hopefully someone closer can give you a hand.

I'm not close to you, but if needed you can bring your livestock up to my store and I can hold it for you. Hopefully there's someone closer.

I can lend you a biocube 8 or 14 until your new setup is ready. I would take your livestock, but I just returned from a long stay in Buffalo, and my tanks are in need of maintenance as well as getting my parameters back in line. It's up to you if you want to take the risk. Will send you a text. Let me know.

I'm in north providence if you need a hand. I have a second tank running that I use as a qt that can hold what corals you have. I also have a 20g long you could use as well if you prefer. Let me know and I can help out

Im a long ways away in Lynn but I have a 210 that has plenty of space till you fix your issue it'll give me an excuse to run the lights lol

I'm impressed at the willingness to help someone out here. This guy has only posted 2 times, and you're willing to put his corals in your tanks/loan him equipment? Seriously, reefers might be the best kind of people out there if you are any representation of all the folks in the hobby. Kudos to you.

If it helps, I'm in Worcester and can make RODI if you need...and I have a 55 acrylic in rough shape that could be used in a pinch.

I would offer to help but I am in the middle of moving my tank. Gobywan and Technorch are both RI local and good people.

That's great, molo41. We texted, but I didn't have a big enough pump for his tank. My spare equipment is nano sized. I'm glad it worked out.

Thank you everyone for the quick replies. I really appreciate it! I'm in the process of designing my new sump and plumbing. My New 1750 GPH pump, ASM G-3 Protein skimmer, 800W heater, 5 stage RO/DI filter came in yesterday, so its going to be fun to set up. I am adding a 100 gal stock tank for my sump, a 120 gal which will be my new DT (previously set up but I down sized for a while), 57 gal (current DT) and a 30 gal frag tank.

Thank you molo41 for the quick assistance! Also, dakar652 I totally agree with you that reefers are the best kind of people out there. I think its because we all realize how delicate this lifestyle is and how much time and money is poured into keeping our tanks up and running. Its all for the fish and corals!

In Franklin and my 90 gallon tank is only ten moths old but has been stable. Have room inthe tank if you need while you set up. Also have a 29 gallon tank doing nothing at the time in the gargae which you could borrow if that helps.

Tank is running on a hang on filter and I finally got my 800W heater in the tank, unfortunately I've lost most of the corals but most of my polyps are still alive, along with crabs, snails and conch. Letting it cycle for now while I set up my new fish room.
