tank in front of baseboard heater

hi all, I just got my new tank today a 60g rr cube from marineland . awesome tank :: and a big thank you to jay's, you are the best. my ? is the location I want to put it, is in front of a heating baseboard. will this be a issue come winter time w/ the heat on. My current tank is on a wall without baseboards. thanks,peter

mine is on the wall with the base board.... if any thign it will keep your heater shut off. but i dripped water on mine... and it rusted a little

My 92 has a baseboard running along one side of it, and other than a bit of rust that showed up, no issues

Pretty much the same here... Rust is a little of an eyesore but nothing that can't be fixed...

yup, same here.... you will spill water on it and salt creep and it will rust.. but other than that no issues. The only time you'd have over heating issues is the summer, and in the summer you don't have heat in the house on .

don't worry about the rust you'll never see it you'll be looking at the new tank to much
