I was able to snag a doser from a member for 35 buck. With that and the BRS part 2 solution (50ish for the kit with bottles). I had issues a couple months ago because of the age of the tank and no dosing. Hand dosing wasn’t working.
I would recommend shopping around for a doser (jebao is cheapest) and setting that up sooner rather than later.
That and more regular water changes has brought my tank back. All my sps and most of my lps died because of the calcium and alkalinity swings I was having.
I know different tanks different problems but I figured I would throw in my two cents.
Keep up with more frequent water changes to maintain alkalinity until you can get the doser.
Good luck!
