Tetra pond pumps at Lowes - good deal?

Looking around the garden section at Lowes I saw they had pond pumps at a discount.
They looked exactly like the Sedra pumps that run Euroreef or ASM skimmers.
Are these pumps a good deal? Gotta be needle wheel, right?

1200 gph submersible pump for ~$96 bucks. Looks just like a Sedra.

I used one as a skimmer pump for a long time but it says not to use in saltwater.

I have 3 of them I use on my pond I would NOT recommend them they are not very dependable !
I pulled one out because It is leaking some sort of oil into the water another keeps randomly jamming
and the 3rd was leaking voltage into the water
none of these are more than 2 years old and have only run in the summer
I will be replacing them all next spring with a better brand

I'd say for the flow rate compared to the price it's a good deal. As stated, people have different opinions on them. I sell Aquascapes pond pumps at work and those are huge money, but a very well made pump.
