There is hope! (scary picture intense)

That's great Tom, it is always nice to find a natural predator for pests. That sounds pretty cool that you have some photographers coming over to take pictures. Maybe you can post some before and after pics like mine.

Great job, that tank looks beautiful.
I agree, I've always found that natural predators are best for getting rid of pests. I have a pep for the aiptasia, crabs for the algae, and my two fighting conchs keep the sand absolutely spotless. I had a real problem with cyano till I got the conchs.

Hmm...I might pick up some fighting conchs as well seeing as some of the ceriths will be moved to my refugium. My hang on refugium right now is full of aiptasia, it's their last place of refuge (excuse the pun :D ) away from the peppermints. So I will have to add some peppermints to the new refugium as well.

I rarely see them in any of my LFS but you could ask them to order some for you which I think I might do.

AMAZING!! Awesome work and something to be said about not giving up.

My best friend has torn down his tank twice now because of hair algae. Butttttttt bad habits die hard and whatever nutrient mistakes he is making just kepp the hair algae coming back.

I added 3 pep shrimp to the reef for Aptasia control. I have never seen the shrimp but all the aptasia is gone. So they must be in there doing their job!!
