Hello i have these on my tank and i like them alot the 3rd listing has alot of info but the 4th has a great price i think 2 lights would do a 48 inch tank but for the price 3 would be better get 3 for the price of 1 name brand just about. don

Hello yes they are on my 250 i found a extar hood on craigslist and gutted it out so they would fit in. i still used a hanging kit on the lights but not the ones that came with it .that was the only thing i disliked about the lights i went with these cheapest place i found them http://www.eastwesthydro.com/light/hangers/movers/progrip/sun-system-progrip-light-hanger-1-8-in .i made a custom slide rack for the lights so i could still pick up the hood with no problems ,i'll take pictures later and post them.thanks don
