Thinking of ditching sand

Want more flow paul.

Nick the sand bed is old been the since 2010 but i know what you mean.when I switched power heads it stirred things up alot. Think it will settle and get "heavy" again?

I have a lot of flow and the sand does get moved around. I have the finest grade of Tropic Eden. The gobies and wrasses love it but I wish I had gone with the next grade up. I thought to mix the two but don't really know what that would look like. The fine sand looks really nice.

well i now have my pumps running off the apex so i have more control over the flow compared to the stock controller. for some reason the stock controller with the jebao pumps wont allow you to dial them back to the 25% their supposed to. it seems like they were never less then 50%. this is making it better.
