Throwing up the white flag!!

So my tank has never been the same after I lost power a few months ago. I have gotten flat worms and small little star fish. I have all but given up on the 75g. I'm trying to figure out a way to completely break the tank down, remove all the coral from the rock work and try to start over from scratch. I have a 40breeder system that I was planning on setting up to do this project. If anyone is local to the Lincoln Cumberland area that has a good quarantine setup. I would be willing to give up some corals to a good home to help with the bioload on the breeder. I'm not looking for money just help( and some frags of my corals when I get my tank back up and running. Any help would be great.

Flat worms are easy to take care of, I had a huge outbreak a few years back and bought a melanurus wrasse and he tanked through them like a pro. I also lost power during the snow storm (assuming thats what you mean for the power outage) and lost everything but a couple small corals. If you're looking to start over anyways go for it but the flat worms are easy to take care of and the little starfish don't usually pose a threat (asternia starfish - little white ones are ok). agreed, i have flatworms but so many people have had great success with wrasses, my plan is to get a wrasse to handle them, and the stars, i had a million of them in my last tank, they never caused any issues

a weasse or mandarin will keep them in small numbers but it may take years to get them all, green wrasse works best. I would manually remove as many as I could and use flatworm rx treat the whole tank just did it last month on a new sh tank, worked great!
with the astrea stars if they have orange or red specks they will eat coral the others are fine

Can't you just put the coral and some rocks into the 40, and put the rest of the rock into buckets??

My plan was to transfer most of the corals and fish into the 40 breeder. Cook the rest of the rock and start over. I know the starfish aren't bad but they are reaching plague proportions. I've had the tank for a few years and I think I need a change to revamp my passion for the hobby. I might put up my tangs for sale because I don't want them to go into the breeder. Thanks for the quick responses. Can I put a melanerus wrasse with a six line?

I always wanted to get a Melanerus Wrasse...but I am on the fence since I hear different opnions about them touching inverts. Yellow Coris was another contender, but I scratched him off my list when I read they will definetely eat feather dusters and is much more likely to go after ornamental shrimp.

But then again, I have also heard that if you keep them fed they won't bother anything... It has been a very tough decision for me

Both of my wrasses eat pellet which fed automaticlly daily, may be that is why they dont do bad things.
