I had a couple of titanium heaters, that hook up to my controller, I keep get sting when I put my hand in there if my hand had a cut. I find out it was the titanium heater with the 3 prong(ground) plug. when I connect it to glass eheim(2 prongs) plug no sting. it is not my controller because I had connect the heater element to the outlet, still get sting. I thought it was a broken heating element, so I got new titanium heater Finnex, still the same problem, it could be a defect heat, but now I begin to think this is a titanium heating problem. this only happen with expose wound, intact skin nothing. anyone run into this problem

If you have a volt meter I would suggest testing your tank for stray voltage and try narrowing down what it might be.

Do you know if your plug is properly rounded? It’s rare that a heater fails out of the box but not impossible.

I know i'll try to use a different outlet, it seem like the heat with ground is the problem.
who is the heater made by I heard many people using the bulk reef supply titanium heaters had similar problems as water got into them.

Finnex, i had good luck with then in the past, i end up going with fluval
I also run finnex. I had a fluval fail and electrocute one of my clownfish and cause burning on my other in my small system. Wiped out all corals which were in there also. I only found what was causing the issue only by utilizing a meter as noted above and in plugging 1 piece of equipment at a time. Hopefully you are all set with the voltage issue and don’t use a ground probe to put a band-aid on the problem, always find the source of the issue for your personal safety.
