TLC Aquarium and Pond Products: Marine SAT

Has anyone used Marine S.A.T. Biological Clarifier to get rid of hair algae? I thought I had cyano breakout but upon further inspection the algae in my tank is really short hair algae. It is all over the rocks and on the back wall of my tank.

I have some TLC Marine SAT but I'm afraid to use it so if anyone has any experience with it please post here. Thanks !

I have used it over the last month. I found that it did not work very fast by the regular dosing instructions on the bottle,(mine was stubborn!). I called Joe at AA where I got it and he told me the instructions that the rep gave to him on how to nuke the algae with this stuff. Doing that took care of it. Now I use it weekly. I did have a tort that seemed to get annoyed at the same time I was using it, but I was also in the middle of a tank move, So I can not be sure it was the product that did it.
