To rinse, or not to rinse?

I just bought new filters for my RODI. Do you rinse the carbon ones before you use them? If so, what/how do you rinse them? Install, and let run, or soak them in RO water?

Nope, don't rinse them

The only thing you have to worrry about is if you replace the membrane. If you do that, you should run a few gallons through it to flush out some sort of storage solution. Rinsing carbon would just use it up a little bit with no benifit.
