OK I know I am way late on this thread but a topic I think would be also useful is activated carbon. Specifically, what types of molecules adsorb onto activated carbon. The physicochemical mechanism would also be interesting. Additionally, what different types of activated carbon are out there and of which ones we should prefer or avoid.

Or maybe I should just not be lazy and just look for it myself. mmmmh....

If we are really hurting for hydraulic stuff we could all meet at my house and plumb the SWEET 240 I am picking up next week...front back and one side starphire glass 60x32x30...I really plan on taking notes Matt...can't wait for the auction or the next lecture...
