OK so I'm looking into buying an established tank but I was wondering how should I go about transporting the tank, water, coral. Any help would be great thanks guys

Last time I did it it was a 120gallon w/sump I used a couple of brute barrel's and a lot of 5 gallon pails if you think you have enough get a couple more
do yourself a favor and have a 50% water change ready you will be surprised on how much water you will lose in the move.
also leave yourself enough time to move. the 120 I started at 8:00 am and finished just after midnight
I did it in the fall and it was tough keeping everything warm

try to have a set up already at the place u are going, maybe a small tank with a hang on the back filter...........so u can more the corals ahead of time

disturbing the sand bed will cause u issues though...................not too sure what to do about that

When I sold my father 92corner to arch85, he brought a garden hose with a mag drive pump, he had 4 30 gal containers in a rented uhaul van and had the water hose pump the water from the location of the tank to the containers in the van. So moving the water was a piece of cake. I helped install the tank at there new home and we did the exacted same thing with the garden hose. An about the sand. I would buy new sand or if u have the time and patience u can wash it but you will have to run ur tank about a week before u put anything in( at least from what I've herd) just to stay safe. But I'd go with new sand.

how big is the tank, how long you need to travel?

Definitely replace the sand bed... Use as much old water as possible.
