I know these wild tri colors are notorious for having trouble coloring up but I have had this one for almost close to a year now and while the tips are a bright purple the base is only green when looking from the top down. When looking through the tank the tips are visibly purple but the base is a pale brown color. It is in the top of my tank so I know light is not an issue. I have over 20 plus pieces of acropora in my tank including Tyree purple monster which is a sensitive piece along and it couldn't have better color. All my acros are colored up even some pieces that I purchased with faded colors. It is healthy for the most part as it is encrusting all over my rock. I dose fuel half the dose twice a week as a food and amino acid source. Occasionally I'll dose acropower. Any thoughts. I should mention the piece was purchased under MH but was only at the LFS for maybe 4 days and is now under two Hydra 26's over my 72 bow front.
