Trochus snail covered in red turf algae

I have never had red turf algae in the past, but in the last month or so two of my rocks have become covered in it. Luckily it was easy to remove the rocks. However I have a large trochus snail that is motoring around the tank covered in the RTA also. What should I do about this guy?

Just gently scrape it off.

You can try taking it off and scrape it off with a razor blade. Just make sure you clean the snail well with tank water before putting it back. You don't have to distribute the pores.
Usually, my tangs will take care of any algae on the snails.
