Trying to see the inside of maxpect Gyre

If it wasn't for the price and already having pumps, I'd give it a shot. The typical pump is large and bulbous. A real eye sore. The vortecs are smaller because of the split design, but still unattractive.

This thing has the motor built in, and is only 2 inches by 12 inches. I may be getting one for Christmas. I just spotted something of the same description in my wife's nightstand. Lucky me!!!
