Tube connection question

How do I reduce this 1/2 inch outlet to a 1/4 tubing? Nothing in Home Depot that isn't made out of brass.

You need a hose barb and some reducers.
They can be found in PVC at Home Depot.

No luck at Home Depot or Unique Aquaria, only brass at HD. I'll try marine depot.

Take a better look at home depot. I had to look for a while before I found hose barb fittings there. Some reason, nobody knew where they were located. I found them near the pex tubing. I think there were mixed in with the pex connectors. If not, try an ace hardware.

I think they might have one there on a rack with push-loc fittings... Like this:

i know HD has those, cause i had two buy 2 when I messed some measurements up on my frag tank Check in the PVC aisle, also give a look in the lawn sprinkler section, I found some of my reducers right there.

skeets right, i just saw those at hd looking for a john quest valve fitting

which HD do you guys go to? I was at the Waltham one. The problem was is that my 1/2" isn't exactly half inch--so all of the 1/2 pvc fittings are too big. A barb would be great, but I couldnt' find any that were reducing or large enough for the 1/2 inch end.
