Tunze 6025 vs. Koralia 3

Currently I am using 2 of the 6025 in my 40 breeder frag tank and I have to say that I have not been overly impressed by the distance of the stream. I was thinking of adding 1 or 2 of the Koralia 3 in addition to the 2 6025 that I aleady have in the tank. Any thoughts on this as to wheterh this may be too much flow for a predominently SPS tank.

Do you think that the Koralia 3 is more effective than the 6025.

Andy, I have a K4, if you want to bring over a 6025, we can compare them.

I have been thinking of adding a few 6025s to the back of my tank for more flow, so it would be a good test for both of us.

Andy, have you thought about modding your 6025s? Its very easy, and can increase flow to nearly 1200gph. I did the easy mod which is trimming back some plastic on the outer casing, and I chopped the end off of it which broadens the flow pattern (probably not for you). People have also cut more slits in the bottom piece to extend the flow distance I believe. There is a nice thread on RC about it. If you do any of the smaller mods, and you mess up, you can buy a new front cover from Tunze for ~$11.
