Tunze 6095s or 6105s?

Hi All,

I'm about to add some much needed improved water circulation to my tank as I prepare to make the move from FOWLR to mixed reef. Here are my tank specs:

120G Marineland 120XH
60" x 18" x 26"

I was pretty well sold on a pair of 6095s, as I like the idea of wide flow in a relatively narrow tank. It seems like this would bring some added turbulence and weed out dead spots. The small size is quite nice too. I'm a little worried it might not be enough flow, though.

Right now BulkReefSupply has 6105's for $300 (including the 10x reward points bonus), which isn't much more than the 6095s. The 6105s also include a wide flow housing(does anyone have any experience with these?) In theory, with the wide flow housing they should be similar to the 6095, only with more flow, though they are much larger.

Regardless of which I buy, there will be one pump on each of the far walls of the tank. My live rock is arranged in one wide, central mound.

6095:
flow: 550-2,500 GPH
size: 1.96in diameter

6105:
flow: 700-3,400 GPH
size: 3.5in diameter

My questions are:
Which model of pump would be most effective based on your experiences?
Is my planned configuration even adequate?

Thanks in advance.

6105s I run the 6095s on a 3ft tank and it's perfect, the flow starts to die off around that point due to the wide output that the 6095s have. On your tank if you were looking at the 6095 because of the size you could do 3 on the back wall.
