Does anyone use or have experience with Tunze Comline skimmers? Pump just screwed the pooch on my cpr bak pak and am looking to compulsively buy a Tunze comline as a replacement.

I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and get the 9004 DC.
I have had a 9004 DC for about 2 years, and prior to that the 9004 for about 5 years (same model, without the adjustable dial). I think they skim fine. Their best attributes are their small size and their low noise. Their worst attribute is that they are hard to take apart and put back together. (but i have a trick for cleaning it now without disassembling it, so this is no longer a problem. So, no bad attributes!).

Just ordered the 9004 DC. It'll be here by Friday. Thanks for the input. I may be PM'ing you down the road for that trick you have for disassembling. Every review is about disassembly, lol.

29 gallon biocube. A little overkill, I know but better safe than sorry I guess and I'll have it for a future build that I have in mind.
