I have a 16 g sand bottom tank that I want to make a euphilias garden in. Would It do good for the flow of that without stirring up sand? Thanks

I believe so, you can direct the flow, easy to hide, and you have control of how much flow you want with many other options. Worked well in my 20 gallon and that also had sand.
