I read this on RC, is this true? I can "upgrade" my 6000 stream from 1850gph to 3175gph by buying the 6100 power supply?
Seems like a great upgrade for $82 or so....would increase my flow substantially. And who can order them...
"I think the perfect solution for you is to buy the 6000s and see how they perform in your tank.its sounds like you will be adjusting them to 100%.when you finally upgrade to the bigger tank all you have to do is buy the 6100 transformers as an upgrade and the cost of the 6000 package+ 6100 transformers vs. the 6100 package dollar for dollar are about the same so no money lost at all.Thats what i did which gave me the luxury to see how the 6000s worked out without having to take the chance of overkill and spending to much.See for yourself the pricing on the transformers and you will see what i mean. Its actually a really cool thing that they have done with their pricing"
Parts: 6100 power supply is $82
