So we know of wild symbiotic relationships, Clownfish and anemones, gobies and shrimps.
I have recently noticed that my CBB and mandarin hang out alot. The CBB will follow and hover touching the mandarin, taking turns nibbling the mysis and brineshrimp on the sandbed. I believe they do this to protect themselves against the greedy clownfish who like to eat most of the food. Almost like hunting in packs of goofy mouthed fish.
I find this sort of thing really interesting! Anybody have any captive relationships that seem uncommon?
