Underwater World in Taunton, MA

MAReefer1

lol, I have a tank, sorta
Underwater world in taunton mall has a great selection of corals and fish...with a large reef tank and and healthy livestock...there one of my favorite LFS around (and my most visited:D)

I buy lots of livestock there all the time and have never had any problems...none of the fish I have ever bought there had any kind of disese...So I HIGHLY reccomend giving it a visit:D:D:D

I've stopped in there, the guy I talked to (I forget his name ) was actually very knowledgable - this wasn't the typical mall fish store by any means.

He and I had a long conversation, and it ran the gamut from freshwater to salt - I give a thumbs up, I was very pleasantly surprised.

One of the positives of the forum. I didn't know of this store, but my wife is visiting that mall next weekend with friends, maybe I'll tag along.

ya i have to say i was pleasently suprised with underwater worls. unlike the dartmouth mall's pitiful display and tons of dead anemaneys (sp). the store was setup nice and i like the way he has his liverock sidplayed in that huge tank.. thumbs up!!!

I just got back from there a few min. ago...they got a huge Huma Huma Trigger in the LR tank:D

wow they must have upgraded or something, last time I was at the store there was not much going on. May have to schedule a visit or tag along with the wifey.

Please remember to keep this to personal experiance's only. If your friend wants to post his or her experiance that's fine, but no second party experiance please.

underwater world has a nice setup, alot of big fish , kind of pricey but as nice as it can be for the mall ,also there new setup is sweet more saltwater !

They can be a little pricey...but they have the healthiest lookin livestock ive seen around, they also keep there systems pretty clean too, I always love goin in there on wed. when they get all there new livestock...

thats the best day to chek it out:D

boy I practicly live at that store:D:D:cool:

just got me a mandarin from there sunday, store is still awsome, great service, knowledgable staff and always willing to talk and give some damn good advice.

i've never bought any SPS from them but it always looks VERY healthy, almost every single frag is encrusted, and all have very deep, bright colors.

i ALWAYS recommend this store to fellow reefers i meet in the area, they're fish and coral selection is much better than any other in the area. (out of the ones i've been to)

ya ok i see from both sides of the fence i brought a miami orchad from there it was covered in red bugs so many the coral got up and walked away when i told him he said i was crazy so i brought it back and showed him not crazy anymore hu but the store is very nice indeed nice tanks and service alot of dry goods but practice safe dipping when buying corals from there just my experiences with the store
