Upgrading to a 210!!!

I am mired in the 75G land and have to envy the kind of space and possibilities the 210G offers. It seems to be a kind of sweet spot in terms of size/cost...'cept that I always thought the 75G, then the 180G were the sweet spots... Tomorrow?

Still looks like a great job; like Brian, I like the space behind the rocks. Congratulations!

looking good..nice size setup..
btw: nice meeting you the other day.

i can bench about that, but no way in hell could i carry that 6 footer down stairs??..you must be one large individual.

I cheated.... I never really picked it up. I basically pulled my truck into the back yard, slid it out and onto cardboard down the bulkhead stairs, slid it over to the stand, then stood it up next to the stand and put one end on. Then I lifted the lower end, (which was probably about 300#'s of it) up onto the stand. I was close to dropping it, but somehow I managed to lift it.
Never again.... that was stupid!

Seawillow,
tank looks awesome!

hahaha..ok..yeah..lifting one end would be tough enough..actually carrying the thing in your arms alone is questionable, never mind down stairs..

hey, it wasn't that i didn't believe you...:D :D

Well, first I want to say "thanks" for the compliments on the tank, second of all, nice meeting you too Triggerfish. Lastly, I think my B/F has had enough of carrying heavy tanks. This past weekend we broke down a friend's 155 bow front. That tank had to go down 2 flights of stairs. I have to say thanks to Ken Labonte for holding up his end of the tank. That mother was a heavy one, too. Next weekend I switch out the 55 FOWLR for the 75 then after that we're not moving any tanks for a long time.... ;)

YOur tank looks very good. That size is a dream tank for me as well. If i upgrade i will definately get 210G. More pics please.

Looks great, what are the dimensions? Did you attach the power head brackets directly to the overflow chamber?

Jim
