Using Dehumidifier water for top-off?

in short yes. you can run it right back to the tank.
get a hose barb and thread it directly onto the outlet of the drain and run tubing to your system.

Have you done it, Scott? I would definitely run it through a sediment filter, Carbon, and DI resin. I just wasn't sure if I would need to send it through RO. It would be nice if I didn't have to because then I wouldn't have to worry about a pressure pump.

If your going to run it through DI resin you would not have to use an RO. What I could not tell you is how long the DI will last. If it exhausts very fast you know there is a lot of ion loading in the water and then you decide if it is worth the effort to run it to the RO or just send it to the drain.
