Vacation: Feeding and Lighting ?s

Good morning...My family and I are going away for about 6 days. I have my Ma on call to come check on things and feed my fish every couple days. I am just wondering about lighting and feeding.
Should I reduce the time my mh's are on, or leave them off? She was going to feed every other day. Is this enough as I feed twice a day now.

Why change the lighting cycle?
Are you worried about the heat?
Every other day will be fine,imo.

Make sure your mom tops off the tank (evaporation). Will you have control over the temp where the tank is? Would hate to have a heat wave cook your tank.....

also, reach out for the phone number of a local reefer, for her to call, just in case.

I wouldn't change the photo period. You shouldn't need to feed every day if you wanted to you could get film canisters and fill them up for each day and freeze them. (ice cubes work well also) and then just have Ma drop a cube in a day.

I would go with everyother day or less. House sitters tend to go over board with feeding......keep things very simple and type out everything......
