We need to rehome our Valentini puffer because it started pecking at our Wilsoni (but nothing else...). This is an amazing fish with plenty of personality, acts like a puppy, and is fun to watch, if you have soft corals/anemone or a fish-only system (which was the system he was in). He's peaceful and not territorial toward any other fish. We like him a lot and had to make a hard decision to let it go. I was hoping it would get along with my LPS when I consolidated my tank, but unfortunately, it didn't work out.

Very healthy and well-fed, systematically quarantined with Prazipro and Metroplex. Please come and take him. Photos will come as I catch him and put him in QT for the duration.

@zedxplorer interested, i have acans, torches, gonis and toadstools, does he picked on any of those, not sure other LPS you had.
Can u share a picture?
I’ll take them if it’s not too big, my daughter has always wanted one so she would be estatic.

He doesn't touch any of my hammer/torches nor any of the soft corals I have. The only coral he seems to only peck on is one of my Australian wilsoni, which is like a brain coral and have a resemblance to acan. But I am not sure if he will do do with acans since he also doesn't touch any of my chalice...only my wilsoni...I really would've kept him if he leaves my wilsoni alone...

Here's a picture of him in QT. He's a bit grumpy since I took him from his home...

Saturday morning is perfect! I imagine your daughter will cherish him, it's a great fish! Pick up in Saugus/Revere area

@Kymot I’d be extremely careful if it’s picking on wilsoni they are fluffy like acans and I would assume it’ll go for them as well in due time. I’ve always wanted one as well but I like my corals more lol

Some pics of the puffer settling in, and saw him picking at the nassarius snail a bit, so i guess flipped snail will have no chance?

Yeah he gets curious over small snail and hermits, and try to peck at them, part of being a puffer. He'll lose interest after a few failed attempts. Glad to see he's settling in, looks like he's loving it. Thanks for the photos haha, my gf definitely appreciates that.
