war coral question

i just recently won a 50 gift certificate to an online vendor. i was looking at a war coral that they had. i was wondering what are the requirements as far as lighting and flow would be for these guys? i think i remember reading that they can be aggressive, is that true? thanks in advance.

apparently this is just a type of favia which i didn't realize. does anyone have suggestions on how to keep these?

I keep mine low in the tank with medium flow. The sweeper tentacles are fairly short on mine but I have other favias with 2"+ feeding tentacles.

Low to medium lighting and flow and they're pretty hardy being an LPS...

like all the above said its hardy i keep mine low in the tank.....it will encrust on whatever you place it on so keep that in mind

do you guys have them on the sandbed or just on a rock low in the tank?
