Water Tests from Today's Meeting

I'm just thinking because I knew mine was running very high from lazy offtopping and the other numbers seem high for the dosing I've been doing unless you figure in the higher salinity.

Judging by all of my numbers, the salinity meter might be reading a little low.
At home mine reads .02 higher than meeting reading 1.24 meeting VS 1.26 home

I had to do your calcium several times because I kept screwing up, so I know the ca and mg are right. Note to self water testing when exhausted at 1am not a good idea.

I should be back to my dorm around 6 so I'll let y'all know then if refractometer is off.

thanks

Thanks Josh. Guess I need to tweek that new dosing pump.

I've bumped up my calcium today.I switched from dosing B-Ionic to Randy's and a couple weeks ago.Noticed from the dosing calculator it takes a lot more Randy's to equal B-Ionic.

There may be an issue with the salinity standard, but the brs refractometer was reading the standard (1.026) at 1.028 (as was my refractometer which I know is still calibrated properly). And after recalibrating the brs refractometer to the standard it was reading my tank low which is not possible because I haven't topped off in 3 days... I hope This makes sense...

Now that you mention it, my tank was reading surprisingly low after getting my refractometer calibrated at the meeting yesterday.
