Anyone have any input or ideas on what the impact of having wavemakers like mp40's or wp40's does to the tank integrity. I'm just curious if there is any hard evidence out there that can draw a shorter life span for a tank because of wavemakers.

I've read suggestions and theories. Haven't seen the evidents. FWIW, my rimless 30x22x20 has been running since 2007 with Tunze 6055/95s and/or MP40 blasting til present. Don't see any issue with it.
I guess it really depends on the quality of the tank. If the seem is questionable, the wavemaker will destroy it.
I'm more concern with the wavemaker splashing water out of the tank than the tank give way to the waves.
