Hello all,
Due to the recent replacement of my controller I have decided to clean up the wiring and cabinet organization a little bit (Ronnie and Jennifer inspired me with their recent threads
). I just ordered a small 4 outlet American DJ power strip and am planning on how to balance what goes onto the controller and what goes on the power strip. I was thinking:
Controller:
- Main lights
- Actinics
- Moon LEDs
- Heater
- Powerheads, 2 outlets for wavemaking
- Auto topoff
- Fan on lights
Power strip:
- Main return pump
- Protein skimmer
- Phosban reactor
- Cabinet light
I am not sure if it is a good thing to place the main return pump on the power strip rather than the controller. Any thoughts? Thanks!
