What kind & color Paint for the back of tank

I am getting ready to put my 125 in the new stand.You won't be able to look through the sides .What should i paint the sides and back with. I don't want any trouble later because it would be a major project to remove the tank from the stand if I had to repaint for peeling etc..
also curios what colors people use or like ?

Before I put my 45g up I painted the back black with spray paint. Its been up for a couple months now but no peeling or such yet.
On my 75g (was already up and running) I spray painted a piece of acrylic black that fit the back of the tank.

The 90gal that I bought has a spray painted back that is black. It looks very nice, and apparently, itwas in service for several years, so I wouldn't worry about peeling unless it was under direct MH lighting,

I use a bright blue backdrop on my current tank, and with the lighting color, it winds up looking very natural. I highly recommend bright blue as well as pitch black,

I found this stuff at a LFS that is a gradient of dark blue to light blueon this plastic coating. So I have that on my tank. Looks nice (I think).

best idea yet. velcro some cloth to the back. change it when you want, take it off for rear viewing when needed.

I did mine in a nice blue but I would use black if I were doing it again.

I used black limo tint ..... worked out well the reflective side faces

The best way is always the way they avoid!!!!!!!!! Sew some Velcro on black or blue cloth (or both) & use the sticky industrial velcro on the top & bottom of the tank frame. Kicks Ace & makes for easy removal if needed. Best thing is you never have to worry if it's going to peal & you can change cloth colors if you get sick of the same color. That's my fidy cent!!!!! "Best Idea yet" & it came from yours truely!!!!! (shameless plug!!)
