I used to keep Chromis as schooling fish but they still kill each other off and now I have two left.
Any other fish that can peacefully coexists in a 125 gallon tank? Thanks

chromis are not schooling fish. People tend to believe they are because they're $6 each. If the price is more than $20, people wouldn't be buying more than two to put in the tank. I've tried it twice with a school of up to 9 but left with one.
Anthias are much better in harlem but require a pretty big tank.

I dont keep them, but always admired a small school of Cardinalfish in a reeftank.

Zebra dartfish are awesome fish that all stay together when swimming around the tank. I have 4 of them in my 65 gallon.

I was under the assumption that no fish we keep at home are considered a schooling fish and that the fish we have that exhibit schooling or shoaling behavior do this because they are forced by tank size.
