whatever happened to reefcentral's equipment for sale listings?

I am looking to buy one of the fancy controllers and couldn't find one here. I thought that reefcentral's forum had used equipment and lots of it, couldn't find a category when I looked today. Have they dropped used equipment? If so, where is the "big" online national place for used stuff????

RC somewhat recently changed the policy on accessing the sale forums, you need 50(?) posts to have access. I'm not sure but you might have to member for a certain time also.

I think they are trying to weed out scammers.

They didn't actually change the rules, they just updated the forum software and now the new version will not let you see the buying and selling forums unless your allowed to participate.

To participate you need to have 50 "meaningful" posts, AND have been an RC member for 90 days. The "meaningful" thing is just to discourage lurkers from posting "nice tank" 50 times in one day to get to the selling forums.

As long as the RC mods don't see it as deliberate post count padding, you should be good.
