When to replace MH bulbs?

I just checked my notes, and my MH bulbs are working on month 15. I use them 12 hrs a day..... what is the typical life on these babies?

usually 1 yr. depending on the ballast and conditions it is under...1 yr is a safe bet tho

I just replaced a couple of 250HQI 10Ks that I used for nearly 2 years (8 hours a day). No problems whatsoever.

Now that I replaced the 96W PC's, the MH's seem to have a yellow tinge

I replaced my Ushio 10K's after one year, they looked fine to me and I had none of the signs you hear about with old bulbs, but from what I gather it was time. I saved them as I suspect they have some more useful life.
