Where to find Actuated Ball Valve?

Armando

v 4.0
I'm thinking about getting a 1" normally open saltwater safe actuated ball valve. Where are they sold? Expensive?

AES (Aquatic Ecosystems)

I think they have a website but if not I have a catalog at home. Probably looking at a couple hundred bucks. minimum

well unfortunately that's beyond what i was planning to spend so i'm going to have to scratch this idea.

Master Shake

Scott,

I love the avatar. I think Master shake is the most colossal f*** of a person(or, thing) ever to be portrayed on TV. I love him.

My only concern about the HD actuated sprinkler valves is that they might not be totally saltwater safe. But, Armando., they're worth a checkout. Let us know what you find. Or I can check 'em out next time I'm there.

Back from my days in engineering practice, actuated valves were always very expensive:( I wanted to put five on my closed loop so that in case of a leak, I could order all five ports closed,

Yeah, I guess. I just don't understand the difference between a $20 actuated valve and a $300 actuated valve. I would have a hard time believing you don't get something, something you possibly need, for that extra $280. I guess I should go have a look at those and see what's up...,
