Who makes the best HOB skimmer

i'm looking for a HOB skimmer for a 37g tank, plan on adding a sump/fuge in the future so will need this to handle about 60g's, thanks for the info

The Remora gets great reviews. I'll be picking up the nano version.

I heard Deltec now offers an HOB skimmer; I'm sure it works great but it's probably pricey.

I've used both the Remora and Bak-Pak HOB's, and neither of them really worked that well. The Remora was a lot quieter than the Bak-Pak, but neither one of them would pull much out of the tank.

Did you use the surface skimmer attachment with the Remora?

I just shot them an email asking if they make one for the nano version.

No, but I used one on the Bak-Pak and didn't like it because it took up too much room and was finicky to set up. I ended up using a surface skimmer attachment on my AC500 fuge which worked a lot better and took up less space.

At the time I thought the Remora worked well, but after using a Deltec I realize I wasn't really pulling that much skimmate from either.
