Wish I had more red coraline. How long have you been running the 14ks?

Are you sure it isn't Cyano growing on it? Is it only down low where it is turning red? I've noticed Cyano seems to start by the sanddbed and work it's way up.

Its coraline its all over and hard and started as spots on the glass.

It is probably just a different strain of coraline.Coraline algae comes in all kinds of colors and growth patterns,it is probably just this particular strain is spreading more effectively than the lighter purple strain you also have.

I wish I could find a way of slowing it down it is making my tank look dark.
