Will a Euro Reef Skimmer fit....

Will a Euro Reef CS 8-2 skimmer fit height wise under a AGA 90 gallon stand taking into account that it will be sitting in a sump. I have been told that the usable space under the stand is 25 3/4" and the height of the skimmer is 24". I have heard both yes and no. Does anyone have any thougts on this.

it will be tight....don't think removing the skimmate cup will be easy

Hi Andy,

I see you're thinking about Adam's Euroreef. I've got the CS6-2 under my 90g AGA and it just BARELY fits. Because the skimmer cup slides off horizontally, it doesn't need any extra room to clean. Just make sure you have room not to position it underneath one of the cross beams, you should be all set!

It's not as easy as it could be, but it takes me all of 10 sec to get the skimmer cup off. Really not a big deal.
