Will this acan recover?

so i had a ricordia fall on this guy yesterday and he's not looking so good, just curious if he will recover or i should do some emergency fragging somehow.. it sucks this is one of my favorite pieces.

My blastos were like that from a turbo snail knocking it face down to live sand, now its fully healed.

Your good.that's the great thing about coral.as long as your water is good most things bounce back after something falls on them or they get knocked over or whatever.I had a ric fall behind my clockwork and under a nem.didn't realize it for a while then the nem moved and I fished it out.went from the size of a half dollar to the size of a pencil eraser.it's recovering nicely though

A ricordia is technically an anemone and they can pack a sting. I had an acan fall into an anemone and never recover. In my case the entire acan was stung. Yours should be fine since only part of it was stung.

He should be fine. It is an acan lord and that is why he lost the battle against the ric.
Try that with my orange crush acan enchinata, it will eat any coral near it.

I just caught my flame red acan lord eating my green chalice this afternoon.

About ten days ago the same thing happened to my candy canes and a few of the heads were stripped to the skeleton . Looked much like your acans. when I looked at them today they were totally healed. Corals can be very resilliant if your water quality is good.
