Will Xenia bother a Cap

I have a large cap in my tank and my xenia is quite full and seems to be touching the cap. Is this anything to worry about?

I would think about trimming the Xenia. My vote would be on the Xenia winning when the two come into contact. And the Xenia will just keeping growing and further encroach on the cap.

Xenia doesn't really sting things, but it can smother them in time Xenia usually does not encrust onto live corals, but it might over time.

Shading would be my only concern if the xenia is over-topping it. I don't have a cap but my digi doesn't seem to mind xenia or anthelia brushing it.
