poor spyro called today ( i am tank sitting for him) from the turks and caicos islands and due to the approching hurricane he's been moved to a bunker to ride it out.

maybe he'll get some coral heads floating into his hotel (if its still standing)

IS the turks and caicos anywhere near aruba? (I'm too busy to look right now...girlfriend being in aruba)

Aruba is much closer to South America, looks like this one is going north of Cuba towards East Coast of Florida.

Aruba is probably the safest destination in the Caribbean weatherwise because it's one of the few islands (the only?) that's outside of the hurricane belt (it's only 50 miles or so away from the shores of Venezuela and Colombia), so it's rarely affected by the storms.
