yellow clown goby losing color

I have a yellow clown goby who has lost nearly all of its coloring. This happened over night. Any thoughts on why this might have happened?

What do you mean? It it becoming translucent or white?

Translucent. I think I may have figured it out though. I noticed that my clown is bullying the goby a little bit so the loss of color may be due to stress. Does that sound possible?

That sounds possible. I had a YWG loose color randomly but it seemed like it was once the lights turned on. Also if you're not feeding it a variety of foods that could lead to a loss of color.

don't the males change color when they become sexually mature??? to a blue gray type color??? I seem to recall that info somehwere but I don't know where I heard it.

I have a mated pair and they are both bright yellow still.

I think it might be stress from the clown.
