i got about 10lbs of good rock in there now

also i was afraid of cooling and now that we have some really hot days (not counting tomorrow) i am ok with how everything is going. we added central ac at teh end of last summer and that is really the lynch pin because it never gets above 80 degrees in the house and with the 3 fans it seems to be ok. i have yet to see above 80.1

so whats next on the list of things to do, after the middle mh of course. new skimmer?

no the skimmer is new. i need to put in a generator this fall so thats on the list. also i am going to build a tank to replace the 20l in the fish room.

what is the coral that you have in the center of your tank? Montipora?

Cool, thanks. I've never had them. I always see little square monti frags but since I never had them I didn't know the growth pattern.

Tank looks great by the way, can you tell what caught my eye?

part of this plan was to have a 40 or 50 gallon tank to serve as a fuge and frag tank with a partition in the middle. the rear would be used to house macro algae and the front for frags but they would both be using the same light. after listening to dave suggest that buying a tank was more economical than building one was i went and got a quick quote on the glass. i decided to just use 2 20L tanks. here's the pics

i spent 2 years in an apartment with a 40 bow front

so i am now certain i have ich ich. i am trying to catch him but with little luck so far.

i also have about 50 lbs of rock (won at the raffle) going live in a tub that is much nicer then alot of the rock in my display. when it is done in a month or so. i will be taking down all the aquascaping removing all fish selling (anyone interested they will need qt and copper) all but 2 or 3. then i will go 2 months fish less. the few i keep will live in the new QT tank i got and i can hit them with copper. this should give enough time to let the ich complete its life cycle in the system. it is a bummer i wish i had decided to set the qt tank up long ago.
