Zoa Melting?

Have any of you colony's of Zoa's been closing up and melting away. I can't find any pests and water parameters are all good. Other colonies are doing totally fine I have read of some people dosing vitamin C. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any other ideas of where to start? They have been closing up and the stalk have been getting thinner with some of the Zoa's heads almost melting off and dying.

are there any other corals near them? I had a similar thing, but it was caused by another LPS's feeler tentacles coming out at night and attacking the zoas...its a possibility. Take a look after the lights go out. Also grab a picture of what you are talking about

...Skeeter...

Unfortunately zoa do that sometimes.
I have watched complete colonies, that had over 20 polyps and healthy, completely disappear in a weeks time.
I would do a water change if it's been a while and try moving if you can.
And keep your fingers crossed.

Thats why I dont by the expensive ones anymore. Sometimes they just melt away for no reason at all. Sometimes things just do better in other peoples systems too....
