asm skimmer help

have a new asm g2 skimmer running for about 2 weeks.
lots of bubbles, seems to be working well, easy to adjust the water level, but not getting the foam. Can't figure this out.
?any ideas?
Old euroreef 135 made lots of foam until the pump died, and I am sure that tank is full of protein.

How deep is it sitting in the sump water?
I've run both a G2 and now Have a G3.But they were both recirc. modded.

Make sure that venturi tube and the little nipple are clean.You'll get bubbles but not enought to foam if it's partially blocked.
