What kind of RO/DI Should I use

ILUVPUFFERS

I've never had a RO system before So I have no clue what kind to get or what I even need. I'm gonna get one for my 72G FOWLR tank. Any Ideas would be great cause I have no Clue. All I've learned in this Hobby is You get what You pay for.

Oh Cool that was is in my price range. I think I'll Try that one. What about UV Sterilizers, Some tell me I need them and some tell me I don't for a FOWLR tank. I figure to be on the safe side I'm gonna get one Eventually. I just don't know what Kind I need.

Thanks For the Advice

Bulk reef supply also sells rodi and that is what I use. I think a lot of people has used uv and own one in the hobby and end up not using them as most are under powered and if you go reef in the end people think it strips good out as well. Good luck almost all rodi are the same or very similar. Look at filters in it aka 2 stage 3 stage or how ever many. Also gpd

On the rodi make sure to find out what your local water department uses to treat the water, either chlorine or chloramines. Most towns use chlorine but quite a few are switching to chloramines which means a different filter. I got mine from bulk reef supply and had to get a chlorarmines one.

I live in Avon, MA. I'm not sure what they treat there water with. If knows please let me know. I'll try to find out. Thanks for all the advice. If I get a UV, I'll get one that has high Wattage so I don't have to upgrade.

Call your town hall and ask for the water and sewer division. I live in Newton and that is what I had to do. I was also unfortunately told I have chloromines. Everywhere around Boston does at this point.
